It’s important that our community leaders make community their first priority. As the old saying goes, you can’t make everyone happy all of the time. You can, however, endeavor to make everyone feel valued and heard, even when you ultimately may not be able to give them what they want.
Part of what makes a town more than just a group of people in a common place is the feeling that their government is working FOR them and WITH them, with common sense and humanity. As a member of the Town Council, I enjoy working for all the people of Oro Valley, not for any specific group or business, and with an ethos of fostering a community where we can all thrive.
